Hello!
Sorry about not posting pics up sooner but finally I have figured it all out. Yay! Well take a look at
my new hair and hopefully you all would like it. Please remember that sisterlocks is a PROCESS and that it’s going to take time to really see what I am going for (long and beautiful hair).
This is the first day of my sisterlocks. As you can see my hair is very fuzzy and hasn’t done that cute curl at the end yet. You can also see my scalp! It’s pretty much the same thing going on in the picture to the right. I can’t wait until the hair fills up and no more scalp! Hehe.
Here’s another shot of my sisterlocks. As you can see it’s getting curly at teh ends. All of these pictures were taken the very first day of me ever having sisterlocks. My installation took 11 hours! I had a great loctician who was certified on the sisterlocks website and she was really nice. I believe that she did an excellent job. Her shop was really nice and calm. It was really small but very sheek (???). It was only me and her. She didn’t have anyone coming in and out of her shop…no one at all! The only person that came was my husband who had dropped me off some lunch. She was really professional and I just loved it there. She was great to chat too and she gave me directions really well… like she didn’t boss me around telling me to turn my head this and that way or else! She was just really nice and everything. I liked her a lot. I am so happy I found her.
This is the second day of my locks. My locks look like they have settled more and are calming down. You can really see how they are coiled and everything. Love it!
And i am especially in love with the parts. I am so in love with them. I love them so much! I didn’t think that I would love them this much, I knew that I would like them but it is just so cool being able to toss my hair this way and thought way and seeing the parts as I go through my hair. 
To your right you can see another great part in my hair. The part looks wider than it really is though because of the flash light on my scalp and stuff. But still it looks great. It looks just awesome. And look at how curly my hair is looking. can you see the difference? I am kind of surpised that it has curled that fast. I am happy about it though because that’s what I wanted. I wanted for my hair to look great as soo as possible and I am glad that it’s making its way there. I was really fearing look crazy for a few days and uch.
Here’s a side view of my hair too. As you can see my hair is really short, espcially with my hair being so curly. It’s actually about 3-4 inches long. I can’t wait until my hair hits my shoulders and it’s curly! That means my hair would actually be longer than that. I just can’t wait!
I know that some people are so “over” long hair but I am not. It’s because I have never had long hair, or at least have never remembered the experience of having it (i’ve seen pictures of my child-self with somewhat long hair…)! I’ve done short hair all of my life and it’s just something that I’ve really wanted. And even more it’s something that I’ve wanted without having to compromise my natural texture. Not having long hair has been more of an issue for me than not having hair that is labeled “fine” by people (what whites, asians, and east africans have). Though I’ve gone through phases of wishing that I had that type of hair, really it’s the long hair that has always drove me crazy and it still does. I just want it! I am not sure if that makes me “brain washed” or something, but it’s what I want. I can’t be mad at anyone for wanting long hair because it’s not something that compromises someone’s natural texture…
Lately I’ve found my hair so jealous of women with long hair and their natural texture (these women have worn sisterlocks). It looks so beautiful. I want that, ok? I want long and natural texture hair! Ok, i’m sounding crazy. lol
